for the first time ever, i am out-stationed ALONE. without having my son by my side.
eversince 4th of april 2006, luqman was never left alone till today, 15th of august 2008.

am in penang rite now. attending a persidangan, to solve some arising issues involving finance and eperolehan. currently, just checked in and cant help contemplating i shud just brought luqman along.

cant help but to agree wif zizie and lilie, being parents these days, is creating  spoilt-brats children. i, similar wif my frens, is actually condone in creating one of them.

look at the clothes they are wearing, compare to what we wore last 30 years. and just name it the toys collectibles. undeniably, we vowed not to repeat the action of our parents whic was quite undiplomatic, but in some ways, we are creating another monster problem, by spoiling them.

compare to those days, being a kid, dining at mcd, or kfc is already counted as a treat for many of us. nowadays, dining at kfc, mcd or a&w is a big no no indulgence for the kids. its just another day eating out. kalau dulu masa kecik-kecik mana ader naik kapal terbang ni suma, compare to what our children is having.

a confession, i am actually one of those kiasu parents like what zaireen once wrote in her entry, looking for all those healthy food, the most vitamins supplied formula and what not. parents nowadays, strive to be the best. until we are kiasu at some point. too protecting. we are indeed striving to give them the best, not knowing that sometimes hardship may teach us gud lessons….

they say parenting knowledge is crucial to be make known to all parents nowadays. unlike those days, parenting skills sounded strange enuff.

but knowledgeable parents to date, knowing the parenting skills too much might not be useful even, instead, may lead to overly protective. I think. 

i guess technology doesnt bring us gud all the time. just a fud for thought, some might not agree…..

it has been an amazing phase in my career , working here actually. the people here, the *G/*H has actually thought that it wud be best if Bahagian Khidmat Pengurusan, which now, being monopoly by Pegawai Takder Duit to be replaced with their kind of scheme *H/*G by the reason of PTD has no sense of belonging.

I finf this very interesting, my bos has been merajuk by the usul already. Though i frankly think this idea is baseless, and i doubt their initiative wud be actualized.

but what caught my attention was, their way of thinking and mentality. I actually have no grudges working with them. but the fact of some of them thinking that their scheme works the best, kinda amaze me. what a shallow thinking, believing only their scheme works the best!

but i guess, this idea has already been crafted inside their state of mind long time ago, so no matter how you tried to prove, how gud othere schemes are, for them, this isnt enough. its more of, what you want to believe, oblivious to the fact that, what u need to believe. the way i see it, they believe only form one perspective solely.

i cant deny there are some rotten ptd’s but i never ever thought that only ptd cud do the greatest. its either my way of thinking is not the mainstreams, or probably its how life already is. i frankly have some figures aming the *H that i thot were kinda professional and competent.

but i guess, there is still hope for amicably environment. thats when all party work together as one team, as one penjawat awam, regardless their schemes of course. by stop pinpointing to others, better accomplishment can be attained and wud lead to better grand achievements.

but to make it works, lets not compete wif others, compete within yourself shud be it.
